Pamela DiCola has been an artist for over 25 years,
painting hundreds of commissioned portraits since the young age of 16. She has won numerous local, national, and international
awards for her portrait work. The most engaging quality of DiCola's portraits, is that they not only portray the likeness
of the model, but are also known for capturing the essence and soul of her subject.
Recently, DiCola has expanded her body of work to include still-lifes and landscapes. As with her portraits, DiCola succeeds
in evoking an emotional response from the veiwer. Focusing on composition, color interaction, and the movement of light, she
is able to create art that produces it's own inner life and emotion.
Pamela DiCola studied art at Pratt Institute, George Washington University, and the Art League(also known as the Torpedo
Factory.) She has studied under several renowned artists such as Daniel Greene, Diane Tesler, Danni Dawson, and Clarise Smith.
Commited to supporting the arts in her community, she has offered private and group lessons to the youth in her area,
conducted several workshops, and has also been chosen to curate and judge several art exhibitions.
