Procedure

Ms. DiCola asks that the client be agreeable to pose for the photo sessions, as well as live settings. To ensure the originality of the portrait, she prefers not to work from photos provided by the client. After the photos are processed, the artist and the client will review the photos and choose the pose for the final portrait. The artist will then paint the portrait in her studio. Again, to ensure the quality of the portrait, additional short sittings may be required for completion of the portrait. Completion times vary, due to the artist's schedule, but generally she requires 2-3 months from the beginning of the process.

A standard portrait will be depicted against a simple vignette background. Detailed backgrounds as well as detailed clothing will result in additional costs, to compensate for the time required for the artist to complte those portraits.

A 50% deposit is due at the time of the agreement. The remainder is due at the time of completion and acceptance of the portrait. The artist maintains her own artistic freedom in creation of each portrait. The client will be refunded the initial deposit if they are not satisfied with the final work or if the work is not completed by the agreed completed by the agreed completion date.
